Introduction
Australian Pharmacist has achieved the highest pharmacist readership level ever recorded in syndicated pharmacy research.
It is Australia’s premier pharmacy publication and has consistently attracted the largest community pharmacy readership (75%) and for the past decade has progressively incresed its lead with all practicing community pharmacists as the preferred (55%) pharmacy title to read.
The journal is undeniably the most credible pharmacy publication for information regarding OTC, prescription drugs, education and professional practice. Included within the journal are clinical reviews and special interest columns; as well as news, commentary and debate on issues affecting the pharmacy profession with no political or commercial bias. Given that Australian Pharmacist has an established and proven high audited circulation (10 029 cab Sept 2007), its ability to reach more community directly at work or at home is far greater than most publications. The journal is ethical in content, and it is precisely what community pharmacists want and read. And they read with far greater interest than any other title in the market place. Australian Pharmacist has an influence over the training pharmacists provide to their staff and an even greater influence over the advice pharmacists give to their patients. Almost 70% of readers have responsibility or influence over the purchasing of products to stock in their pharmacy. Investment in this journal will provide extremely valuable exposure to a large audience of 10 000 pharmacists through out Australia via the pages of Australia’s most respected and best read pharmacy publication.
